Yes, I am alive and well.  I got done with finals at the Josephinum.  One year down and four to go.  I also jsut got back from fishing in the boundry waters...I caught some sweet fish and have some great "the one that got away" stories.  I am living and working in Peoria IL this summer, mostly manual labor and interior decoration.  God bless you all, my favorite students who I miss like crazy and I hope to see again but I don't know when.  Be happy, healthy, and holy this summer.

I'm in the midst of finals and have no time to think...but of course a bit of time to update.  My B-ball team won the intramural championship.  I am still semi-sane and simply waiting with serious anticipation for break.

well, I'm here in DC visiting some friends for Thanksgiving.  I've had a great break being able to sleep in and hang out with some old friends.  they have a one and a half year old boy named Michael and he's hilarious!  Not much else is new...I have three more weeks of school when I get back.  i am all registered for next semesters classes, so yes I am going back.  Thanks for saying hi my peeps.  God bless y'all and I'll talk to you later.

Yes, I am terrible at updating, but I gave up dating when I entered seminary and my mind hasn't reconciled that the two are different:)  I went on a silent retreat a couple weeks ago and they are always renewing.  I began Hispanic Ministry at a parish in Columbus where I and another seminarian direct the Spanish youth choir.  I have a great time using my spanish as well as working on music.  Can you imagine me at a Spanish Sunday Mass playing guitar with a microphone in my face singing in Spanish???  Its a sight to see.  I've been trying to get to bed at a more reasonable time which translates to 7pm Yuma time, hence my absence from aim.  I am going to DC to visit friends over Thanksgiving and I will be home in IL from Dec. 18-Jan 7.  I was recently elected to the student senate here at the Josephinum.  I played linebacker in a huge flag football game here on campus, and I started a wine appreciation club.  Now, don't go doing that and tell your parents that you are simply trying to imitate your former religion teacher because it doesn't work if you are not 21 no matter how sophisticated it might be.  I love you guys and i miss you.

I am headed off to Mass right now, but here is a quick update.  I arrived here at the sem (www.pcj.edu) about four weeks ago.  A normal day:  Wake at 6:30, Morning Prayer 7-8, Classes, Mass 11:30, More Classes, Evening Prayer 5:30, and then homework.  Intermitently thrown in there is time to be social, eat, or have meetings.  Mid terms and papers are already coming due, and Fall Break is in a month.  Time is flying (its my B-day by the way).  Ameila, I liked your poem.

I don't have a car, but I manage because everything is centrally located.  I must say that I am really happy to be on such a regular prayer routine and study.  I do miss teaching though, and the best part of teaching is the students.  Be good to your teachers!
